Fall is Here

Actually, not til Saturday, but despite global warming’s best attempts, the temperatures have been below average for the last two weeks. Several nights its been in the forties here for the lows. The trees are even changing here. Kinda early for that. I think my favorite part of fall though (besides the trees) is the way the shadows fall. They start early and they fall across the highway around 5:30 in the afternoon. I’ve been thinking about how to express my feelings about the fall, and I just can’t put them into words.
